Some fun with the new camera

For the last 6 or 7 months I have
been really having major fun playing in the
NEW Mountain Folk Reunion Band.

It is refreshing to branch out and play some
great old tunes and it is also rewarding to see
the response from those who come to hear us.

Be sure to drop by The Mountain Folk Reunion
site themountainfolkreunion.com
or hunt for us on YOU TUBE and
check our our dates..be great to see you at one of
the shows!

Due to finally hitting sixty something or other and
my wonderful family tree I am at last becoming
folliculariy challenged. I am now working to become a
hat guy...not easy cause I never wore one but
with winter coming on and very little up there
to keep me warm hats are now my new friend.

Here are some things I did with the new
HD camera we use to record The Mountain Folk
Reunion concerts. I hope you can get
past the hat and that you enjoy the tunes!

Have a great winter!

PS
Don't forget to right click to see these
in the YOU TUBE format and be sure to hit
the HD when you get over there. Again,
I KNOW THE HAT SUCKS...but it is what
the elderly do when we grow through our
hair!

At times it is best to just deal with what you don't have and
realize this hat thing is going to take some getting use to!
Here are a few tunes..."uncovered" bless their hearts.

Hear is an Eagles tune (words changed due to the fact that I forgot them)
from the soon to be famious "Kitchen" tapes.

and here is one by that guy who wrote Listen To The Warm...dang skinny little book that if you showed it ment you were "sensitive" and also gave you a shot at
taking a hippy type girl out for a coke float.

GREAT FUN AT THE INN!

The night before Mother's day was filled with storms, wind, rain and still they came to Carmichael Inn for the semi-famous Walker Johnson Show!
Thanks to all those who braved the elements to fill the deck and we hope to see everyone back on June 6th as THE WALKER JOHNSON SHOW continues their Loudon Tour 2009!

Ace Vediographer Snaps Cannon set up
the camera above the action and aimed it just where it
would give a beautiful picture of the mic, BUT NO FACE? That old EV Mic looked outstanding! Snaps convinced the publicity department the video sans FACE moved the shameless promotion of the show into a level of art only those with great confidence and bravery would ever half way consider stepping into. The department bought it and so you see the results of Snaps aiming a camera after a quart of MD20-20.
